Party Pants take on NEW MEANING

Last night was AMAZING to say the least!

I finally decided to go out to this pub that is within a 5 minute walk from my apartment, La Gaffe. Every Wednesday night the pub had happy hour from 7-10pm (two for one drinks, which include everything!) Most of the exchange students end up heading out for a good night on the town and as I said, I finally decided to join in on the fun.

Brittany, Miriam and I all got out of class at 7pm and we ran to the bus at school in order to make it home in time to stop at the intermarche for some food and time to get ready. As typical college students we decided that ramen noodles would do the trick. One thing I've learned is that France has a lot of similar things (food, drinks, shops, etc.) that the United States does, and lucky for us ramen noodles is one of those things. However, here they are called "Yum Yum."

The three of us intended on meeting our other friends, Abby and Nicole outside of our place and then head to the pub all together, however we were running a little behind. Oh well. Once we got to La Gaffe, it was slowly filling up. Let me also add that Wednesday nights must be the night that all the extremely GOOD LOOKING men come out to play! Talk about a large group of insanely gorgeous men, LOVED IT! :)

Anyways, we all had a fabulous evening out! The place eventually got super packed, and even though it was a bit claustrophobic, just being able to be there with good friends and to be out having a good time with everyone, it really didn't matter that you could barely move.

At the pub, there was a Kings of Leon cover band that was absolutely incredible! Funny thing was, the lead singer looked about 40 years old... just a bit off from the actual group. It was a lot of fun though. I have a feeling that is going to be a regular spot on Wednesday nights for me. :)

When we were all there, and about ready to leave, Miriam and I were trying to find Brittany, however, she was MIA. When she finally came out from the bathroom line she informed us what had previously taken place inside La Gaffe. As she was waiting in line for the bathroom, which was extremely long, the girl in front of her I suppose could not hold "it" long enough. Brittany said that she saw the girl awkwardly bend down in front of her and when she finally popped back up the girl took off running from the line. Brittany and the other girls in line were a bit confused by what had just taken place, until Brittany looked down a saw a puddle in front of her and noticed that her leggings were wet and so were her boots. Apparently, the girl in line peed right there, right on Brittany! As disgusting as it was, all of us couldn't help but laugh at what had just happened. So Brittany and I ran home so that she could take her now wet pee clothes off and get them washed. Talk about a wild and crazy evening out!

So far, it has been a lot of fun here in France. I wake up every morning and realize I am actually living here. It blows my mind each day! I think now that all is going much much better, it will end up being extremely hard to go back to the states. But I guess I will cross that bridge when it gets here. Until then, I am going to be doing as much traveling and exploring as I can! Brittany and I actually booked our flight and hotel in Dublin, Ireland for March 17th-22nd! We are so excited that we get to spend St. Patrick's Day in the Irish country. It is going to be a lot of fun!
